This cozy cabin offers access to: A private hot tub on the beautiful covered deck, a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company.
The Alpine is conveniently located near everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer.
Whether you plan to lounge and relax, hike, canoe, horseback ride, zipline, tour wineries or attend one of the many festivals hosted in the area, The Alpine is the perfect home-base for your couples getaway. We offer all the cooking wares and utensils you could need to prepare and serve a delicious meal for two: pots & pans, dinner service for 2 guests (plates, bowls, silverware, and kitchen basics).

Kitchen Basics: We will stock basic kitchen needs such as cooking spray, condiments, sugar and some spices, along with a few special extras to make your trip most enjoyable!

Beverage Bar: We know that morning routines are important, even while on vacation. That's why The Alpine features a full beverage bar with your choice of pour-over coffee, full-pot, Nespresso, or tea with an instant-hot kettle. You'll have a hard time deciding from an assortment of espressos, coffees & teas to choose from.

The family room of The Alpine is the perfect place for couples to get cozy and relax. The sofa and armchairs are beyond heavenly and buttery soft. While cozying up on the sofa, you have the most amazing views from the patio door that looks out onto the deck and our very own Everwood's private forest.

If you are all natured out, you can pull out a board game or turn your attention to the large Smart TV with Sling provided (which offers over 150 channels), or login to your own streaming services and pick up right where you left off on your favorite shows.
OUTDOOR:

The outdoor area of The Alpine offers access to a hot tub on the beautiful back deck, and a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE FIREWOOD for the fire pit or fireplace. Large piles of wood tend to attract critters and we prefer our guests to not have to deal with that on their vacation. Many neighbors sell firewood bundles by the roadside on the honor system.

ALPINE ACCESS: We ask that Lodge guests respect the privacy of the Timber Haus guests, which is located on the adjacent side of the property. Inside the Alpine, guests will have access to all spaces minus the locked storage closets, where tools and restock items are kept.
PARKING: There is a gravel parking area directly outside of the cabin. We recommend 4-wheel drive due to the grade of the driveway, especially in the winter months.
ALPINE CLEANLINESS: We employ a local, high-level, professional cleaning team who understands the cleanliness standards we have set for our cabins. Together, we make certain our guests are able to settle in and feel confident in a sparkling clean home away from home.
ALPINE QUIRKS: We love the modern, cozy comfort of The Everwoods Alpine. It allows us to unplug from our busy and sometimes chaotic day to day life. The Alpine is truly a home away from home, but it is not totally without quirks. We are on a septic system, which means only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet and there is no garbage disposal. We also have well water (with a softener system making it perfectly safe to drink and bathe in). Some guests prefer to bring bottled water during their stay. While we have the premier Starlink Wi-Fi system setup in our cabin, we are in an extremely rural area, where the internet is often spotty. We ask that you come prepared to unplug, in the case that the Wi-Fi signal is not perfect during your stay. Finally, we professionally treat the property for pests; however we are located in the woods and do not offer refunds if bugs are found in or around the property!
A FEW ITEMS TO NOTE ABOUT RENTING THE EVERWOODS ALPINE:

No Pets: Despite being animal lovers, we do not permit pets for a variety of reasons. No exceptions.

No Smoking: The cabin is a non-smoking property, which includes both inside and outside of the property and includes tobacco, natural and vaping.

No Parties or Events: Parties and/or events are not allowed at the cabin. Violations will result in the guest being removed from the property without refund. PS: No glitter or confetti, no exceptions!

Rental Agreement: We require a rental agreement to be signed prior to your stay. Should the agreement not be signed, we reserve the right to cancel your stay.

Security System: We utilize a Ring doorbell and one additional outdoor security camera that faces the driveway area. We use both of these for the safety of our guests and our cabins. They will not be monitored, aside from check-in, during your stay unless an issue arises. Covering or disabling either of these devices, in any way, is strictly prohibited and will result in being removed from the property without a refund.
